Crafted to protect your walls from splashes and stains, each piece is precisely cut and polished for effortless installation. Due to the natural characteristics of the material, some variations are to be expected.
What To Expect
Our lacquered eggshell pieces are made from locally sourced, upcycled eggshells that have been cracked, placed, painted, buffed, and polished by hand. Once the fragments have been laid, layers of lacquer are applied, offering each piece a distinguished sheen. You may also notice that some shells have discoloration or irregular spots, making every finished product completely one of a kind.

- Polished marble backsplash and sidesplashes have a glossy and smooth surface. Carrara marble is quarried from Italy. The marble is unfinished. Standard recommendation is that marble be sealed once a year to prevent staining.
- To maintain the marble surface, wipe with a soft and dry cloth. Do not use harsh abrasives or household cleaners as they may damage the finish. Marble is porous and can stain, particularly with dark liquids. Wipe spills immediately.
- Burl resin, maple burl veneer, and lacquered eggshell countertops are polished for a glossy finish
- Given the handmade nature of this piece, variations are to be expected
- Installation by a licensed contractor and plumber is recommended. Made Goods’ delivery service does not include installation.
